How I did it: We went to Puerta Vallarta, Mexico for a few days and in one of the resorts they had tigers and jaguars and I think a lion. One of the attendants was holding a tiger cub and my sister got to hold her. It was so cute, and their fur is so rough even though it looks really soft. It was a cool experience. Well, I haven’t written in about a month, but now I’m back to it. I tend to fluctuate with projects and go back and forth, even though I know I should just stick to one thing at a time. But that’s another goal.
So now I have 44 typed pages on my computer. Again, whatever that means. Either way, the story is starting to come together very nicely. I’m still excited about this, and am satisfied with my work so far. I sha’ll continue…
I know exactly what I’m going to get first, and where I want it. I know how I want it to look, including all the colors going into it.
Now I need to figure out where I’m going to get it done. Of course price is a big factor, but I want it to look like the night, and with a lot of shading. I want it to look like it’s popping out of my arm. I need to research places around my area for artists who are great at shading because that’s the main thing. But I’m one step closer.
Lately, I’ve been listening to alot of Shakira. I bought her Grandes Exitos CD that has all of her Spanish hits on it. Well, I’m starting to remember a lot of vocabulary that I’ve forgotten.
I’ll hear her say something and I’ll think” Oh! That means ‘worse’, and that means ‘tears’” so obviously I haven’t lost my Spanish, I just forgot a lot of it. It’s such a relief to know that I haven’t completely lost it. It’s coming back!
I just need to keep listening to music and reading the books I have. I don’t think I need to go spend money on disks or anything since I’ve taken Spanish most of my life.
