I started my own list of happy things about 15 years ago when I was in therapy trying to overcome a traumatic childhood. It took a while, but eventually it became a habit to focus on those things that made me happy. It feels good to have a bounce in my step and to allow my hearty laugh to erupt without stifling it. (which I’m only able to do because of my one true love.) It helps to be loved by someone who loves your laugh.
Kudos to all who are focusing on this goal! It will change your perspective tremendously.
