unix isnt very hard once you learn it but it does have a huge learning curve each of the other os’s are pretty close or atleast they should be because they are modeled after it…. and emacs is just a text editor but this is deffinitally on my list too

it never really goes completely away

its not one of those things you can just get over but what helped me is to just stop thinking and do it…. find something or someone else to take your mind away from whats going on and push yourself through it… each time you do it will get easier and easier until you dont have to worry anymore then after a while you forget it and it seems to just go away sometimes you will get that feeling again but ignore it…... it worked for me and i hope something works for everyone else too …... when i look back though if i could go back and live life without it i dont think that i would because when you ‘get over it’ it teaches you so many things and you have a better appreciation for certain things then you would have otherwise
