The duck is in my oven roasting at this very moment! I am really excited; I’m going to have roast duck and orange sauce for dinner. I didn’t think I had it in me :-)

How I did it: Check out this picture. That is my actual roast duck!First I had to find a place that sold duck -- bigger grocery stores have them with the turkeys and geese and stuff. I learned that you could also buy quail at grocery stores during this experience! Next you have to find a recipe you want to use. Then you defrost the thing in your fridge, then you cook it with the recipe. Then you rip it apart with a friend :-) mmm! Read how I did it…

How I did it: I went to the one million giraffes website, and after seeing all the cool giraffes people had sent in I decided to draw some myself. I used my camera phone and then used the online submission thingie they have on the website. It was fun to sit around with my friend and draw giraffes. It's a weird project but it's FUN! And I hope the person running it succeeds in getting a million! Read how I did it…

How I did it: I looked in a cookbook I had and I followed the instructions :-) Seriously though, the first time you try something like this, many things may go wrong -- the crust burns before the center is cooked through (try wrapping the crust edge with foil or trimming it down to begin with), the bottom crust sticks to the pan (always grease the pan well before use and do NOT be a lazy butt and press the dough into the pan, roll it out first like a g… Read how I did it…

Giraffes

Hey, I made a bunch of giraffes. It was fun to just sit around and draw giraffes and help such a cool online project. My giraffes rock, by the way, and Im happy that they are online now :-)
