If I do this I will be looking gooood!

It by no means attracts people, and when I do it makes me wonder if they think less of me when they hear me do it for the first time.

I live in an apartment where the furniture must be very specific (in shape) and I am on a budget. I work well with my hands, but what I have been able to see so far seems overly-complicated. I suspect that judicious use of a staple-gun would reduce the headache of sewing fabric, batting, etc onto the frame itself.
