How I did it: It all started with my parents, who, bless their souls, understood the value of seeing more of the world than one's own little corner. We took roadtrips nearly every summer starting when I was about 6 or 7 (youngest bro would have been 1-2 years old). I remember Maine, Wash DC, Wyoming, Montreal, Boston, and more. OMG, that was an intense experience. I am happily in the resting stage now, catching up on laundry, emails, and episodes of Medium. In a couple days I will start preparing for the oral defense of the paper. Wish me luck!
This comps paper writing is really difficult for some reason. Glad to have a deadline coming up soon!
