I’ve just been offered the chance to run not 10k, but 10 miles in the Great South Run in England. I’m going to try this, but I’m not sure how able I’ll be. Training starts now – I have four months. I think having this run as a goal in mind is definitely going to push me into running a lot more. I’m nervous though!

This is something I really want to do this year so I’m going to try and get myself into it, even if only on a small scale (no pun intended!) Watch this space…
Manchester city centre
Well I did it. I’ve been living in Manchester for six months and it’s been absolutely brilliant! Everyone should live in a city centre at some point in their lives, it’s so brilliant to be able to walk out the door and have restaurants, bars, cinemas, theatres and loads more right there! And it’s not even that expensive when you think about how much you save by not driving, commuting or parking.
