I’ve spent time in most of the major US cities, and Seattle has the nicest people, the best weather (gasp! i think it’s true, although hard to believe during winter, but summer makes up for it), and one can actually afford to live here (as opposed to the bay area, honolulu, nyc).
Worth every moment. If you ever get a chance, jump on it. I quit a “normal”, well-paid job to work for Apple, and have never regretted it.
