So I have really made this goal a priority. I didn’t plan on it at all but I just ran (jogged) over 8 miles! I usually do 3 max. I am so proud of myself but I do have a big blister to show for it. Next week I will try to do 8.5 :)

Emotions 17 months ago

Upon realization of the truths of my past, I am releasing them. There are usually quiet tears involved in this process. Each one that comes out, is strangely familiar. It’s like saying goodbye to an old friend that you know you will never see again but they are off to a better place.

I have completed the first week. I cannot tell you how different it was than I thought it would be. It was much harder and the challenges were not at all what I expected. It is painful in so many ways but I am doing it nevertheless. I am beginning to see the patterns and relationships between my experiences. It is intense…and I only started. 17 more weeks to go.
