I’m marking this done, but its really a continuous process. A programmer who cares about his craft should never stop his search for better ways to communicate with computers and people.
Since moving in with my girlfriend, I’ve tried to get rid of as much extra crap as possible. Garage sales help in this regard. I’ve found its good to be just a little overzealous; chances are you can buy another of something you end up needing. Often the replacement cost is less than the the benefit of not dragging some extraneous junk around for a little while.
