how does one start doing this?
i guess you would just set aside a whole day and start going through everything you own and tossing all the stuff you dont want/need.
easy enough.
but what’s not easy is picking out all the things i don’t want/need when nothing could fit in that category.
i’m totally not a pack rat. but i’m a collector.
i collect interesting stones and bottlecaps and knickknacks and things i find that look interesting.
and clothes. i have way too many of those. but i can’t bear to get rid of anything..
ugh this is so hard… somebody please tell me, if you’re a neat freak, how you start on a goal like this..

i’ve wanted to learn french my whole life, as my entire extended family speaks it (my ancestry is from Quebec)
a teacher at my school speaks french and has agreed to have an independent study during a few of my free periods. awesome!
it’s a little slow though. i already speak spanish, and am almost fluent in german, but french is so difficult. because the pronunciation is so difficult, i find it hard to teach it to myself without hearing the words aloud.
i went out and got a super-fancy waterbottle the other day. i carry it around with me 24/7.
as a result, i subconsciously drink almost 4 or 5 bottles every day, which is great! i’m feeling so much healthier.
