I was hoping the people who told me “it doesn’t hurt at all” would be right. They weren’t. I just got a 6” long fish tattooed on my left inner arm and it was 2 hours of constant pain. I didn’t really get used to the feeling of the needle but I was able to ignore it by talking and concentrating on other things. It was definitely bearable.
I got a little light-headed about 15 minutes in because I was not breathing regularly. I asked the guy to take a break for a few minutes and drank a cup of water then focused on breathing deeply and slowly. After 5 minutes I was back to normal and I spent the remaining time without any complications.

In high school one of my friends stole a dictionary from a classroom and hid it in his locker for months. It was a pretty lame prank until it started appearing in different people’s lockers. We all ended up passing it from one person to another throughout the school year until nobody was sure who had even taken it in the first place. I know one of us took it home at graduation but I don’t know which one.
