I’ve been studying English since more or less the age of four, so you can probably understand how it comes close to a second mother-tongue for me. It doesn’t really count as ‘foreign’.
As for others, I’m relatively fluent in French and can understand a decent level of Spanish and Italian. However, my goal is to become acquainted with Asian languages. I started learning Chinese last year with the help of a friend and had to take a break when she left for a study term (in China). This autumn I’m hoping to get back on track since I found this language to be both fasinating and less difficult that I expected.
