So now I can run a mile without stopping, and I tried jogging for 20 minutes last week. That went pretty well so I might as well try working up to an hour

How I did it: I just started running for 5 minutes without stopping, walked 1, ran 4, walked 2, etc. About a month later I decided to try running the mile, and even though it took me like 13 minutes (treadmill), I didn't have to stop :) Now I start each workout with a mile run Read how I did it…
Two parts to this goal:
Take a picture of myself every day
Take a random picture of somewhere I went
Nothing fancy, just me and my digital camera…we’ll see where it goes.
I’m practically gumby’s cousin…the splits are the least evidence of my flexibility (sorry, I’m bragging but I’m proud). I can do them without stretching and without any pain. But now I’m finding that my right hip joint feels like it’s grinding in the socket when I do squats and stuff…could it be related? I don’t know, but I’m probably not going to stop doing the splits soon since I’m in dance.
Also, stretching works a ton better when you’re muscles are warmed up. Do not stretch cold muscles – that goes for whatever contortionistic feat you’re attempting
