How I did it: My personal trainer's assistant is the 'nutrition' part of the sessions. She's been very helpful in monitoring and tweaking my eating plan. It’s a good reminder that this goal is on here, but it’s an ongoing journey. After my mother died, my impulse to shut-down was strong, but having him next to me every night and every morning, forced me to make choices that moved toward connection and love. It’s still hard, but very worth it.
