Either trough paying back on the mortgage, or trough buying more investments, or a combination thereof. Going to need the money for buying a bigger house in a few years when the kids grow up and need the space.

Okay, so we bought one already. But here’s the thing, when we bought that we where a newly established 3-head family.
After that, we went and had twins, so now our 3-bedroom house don’t seem so roomy afterall. It’s no immediate concern, works fine for aslong as the kids are small.
But we really don’t feel like cramming 3 teenagers into 2 small rooms, you even need to go trough one of those rooms to get to the other. Can you imagine that ? Oh, and we’ve got 2 girls and a boy, which also doesn’t decomplicate it.
Long story short, we’re gonna need a bigger house, and it’s be cool to do it in the next 2-3 years.
Okay, so 2008 ended up good. We reduced debt by $15K which is more than a thousand a month. Go us !
It’ll take a while anyway, housing-prices being what they are here means we have a quite large mortgage. Still, I’m satisfied with the progress this far.
