dreadlocks take a lot of work, they get itchy, they get crusty, they get fuzzy and everyone things you are some hippie even when you aren’t and they take years to look nice.. unless of course you are one of those who will pay $500 for awesome hair people in which case.. that’s fine.. but you will know at night when you are alone.. and they don’t save the world or make you special.. get over it. but all in all dreadlocks are fun.

I realized that about six months ago that not only was I not an agnostic, but I in fact did not believe in god… which is not to say that I don’t accept intuitions around me, or how beautiful the world is.. this is different from god. I do not believe in an all knowing bla bla bla who supervises me and that I should fear. now I want no responses to this because I have no problems with other people believing in god(s) and I happily invite them to live their lives as authentically and joyfully as they can.. so end of that. no shame. I don’t believe.
While some would argue that consumerism is not the way to show affection.. I think that they are thinking about it too simply. I mean that I want to have the capability so that if in passing I hear my mother say she wants a villa in Venice, that I can hand her the keys in a week. The look on her face, and her pride and her joy would be so important.. she is a very special human being.. all people say this about their mothers.. but she is really exceptional.
