I had a library of over 1,000 books! They were all arranged (most were textbooks I’d gathered, because I wanted to start a school).
It was very much worth it until I had to pack them all and move! Unless you have someone to take care of them, a place to donate them to, you are old enough to have them in a more static place, or it is a collective effort, it is a space/time liability.
But it was very nice to have for a while.

Visit galleries. Show some art. Keep going. Art is about promotion if you want to get into galleries.
*Beware of galleries that steal your profits/are not enjoyable people.
*It’s a business relationship. Get to know who is “borrowing” your work.
*Keep tabs on the local/regional/national galleries and their art collections. See what fits your work. It may not be in your area.
*Have a good website that is simple and presents your work in a quick way. You don’t need to pay lots of money for this. (simpleviewer is a good download).

do work next to someone who does work all the time, but has a positive personality.
make sure a good literature search is done.
get outside help from a school-supported writing tutor (preferably an experienced and erudite female).
the structure is the most difficult part – once the structure is outlined, fill it in.
i wrote a little each day, and filled up three binders with research, throwing out or labeling as i needed.
start research early. keep it on the mind. don’t go off on tangents.
slow and steady wins the race.
i had mine done on time, well done, without much stress. it was a pretty enjoyable and enlightening experience.
