I just took off the acrylic nails and I am so glad to see that my nails have been growing really well! This is the first time ever seeing white bits on my thumbs particularly! For those of you ladies out there who want to see faster result, GO GET YOUR NAILS DONE! I was really embarrassed to show the nail technician my bitten and jagged up nails, but in the long run, I’m so glad that I went for it.
Day 17, and I’m doing great! I’m hoping to across this off before August—if not, then definitely before the summer ends ;) I can feel it already!
I’m so excited <3

Two and a half years after my first and only successful attempt at breaking this habit, I’m trying to overcome it again. I’ve tried so many times that I’ve lost count.
My sister brought me to a nail salon and got my nails done. I’m really hoping that this will be the last time I try to break this habit!!
Day 4

7th Attempt!
I finally restarted this goal a few weeks ago. I’m doing pretty good! My left hand pinky looks really good; it’s always the pinkies that grow the fastest and easiest. I’m so glad to see little white parts on all of the other fingers! I’ve been applying hand lotion again which works wonders! it moisturizes my fingers and cuticles and keeps my fingers away from my mouth. Just a few days ago, I applied a really natural, almost nude shade to the nails that are in good shape. Ever since, I haven’t bitten or picked it! I read that people put nail polish on so they can’t bite their fingers, but it didn’t work for me because how short my nails are would stand out even more when they have colour on. But with the translucent white shade on, I feel much better.
