I have good days and bad days. It’s difficult because on good days, I realize and know that there’s a reason behind what happened that’s still being fixed and addressed, though mostly that part of it is taken care of. There’s some issues there, and they aren’t MY fault, but they affect my security in the relationship. We figured out what was happening, why it was happening, and I’ve helped him realize why it’s wrong, but we still have setbacks, and it’s those setbacks (and random “bad” days) that make it hard for me to move on.

I’ve forgiven, but not forgotten; I want to forget, though I don’t think that will ever happen. I want to be able to not get angry or hurt about it anymore, to absolve myself of negative feelings and be able to look at it as a difficult life lesson that we helped each other through. I want to have no more bad days.

My sister and her partner are both biologically female, and their relationship has lasted longer than any of mine, including my marriage. I hope one day they can get married in a legally recognized, official marriage (so long as, I believe, that is what they want) and in any state, not just one that recognizes it.

The basics of what I’d like to accomplish are as follows:

Create various floorplans incorporating basic (and maybe a little more than basic) needs that people expect or require within a house, with a somewhat minimalistic approach.

Include estimates as far as building and furnishing costs.

Various floorplans suit the needs of single persons, two people in a relationship without children, two people in a relatinoship with children (and different plans based on the number of children) as well as single parent households with children, and households of a single parent with children who visit but do not live permanently.

estimated cost required to add amenities like community playground/after school/daycare center (this would be something added in significantly later)

The primary goal of a community like this is for housing to be significantly cheaper (monthly rent+ utilities being $100-$400 depending on household size) as well as safe for children so that people aren’t punished with a bad socioeconomic situation with no way out. Not meant to be a permanent solution, but instead a stepping stone.

I’d really like to assemble all my talents onto a piece or two of paper so that I can market myself as a valuable asset to people. The problem I have is that I don’t have much “official” experience, but I do have plenty of life experiences, as well as volunteering my time to other people and causes, and what I really need to do is figure out how to incorporate THAT into a really amazing resume with an intriguing format.
