How I did it: I decided to learn the drums.It takes persistence and practice. I don't ever miss my weekly 1:1 lesson with my instructor. I've missed one lesson in the past 1 1/2 years due to work (a few when I was on vacation outside the country) . Just kept at it, and never let the slowness of my learning speed bother me.
