pay off my student loan
Untitled 2 years ago

I just made my last payment last month. (march ‘07)

In the UK, maybe elsewhere too, with Student Loans Interest rates at or below inflation rates it doesn’t usually save you money if you pay off your loan early. Pay what your asked to pay and don’t worry about it.

see this Money Saving Expert, article.

Read the Bible
Untitled 3 years ago

I follow a plan that allows me to read the whole bible every year, in fact I read the New Testament twice a year and the Old Testament once. It takes a very small amount of time each day, but the effect on my whole day is Enormously beneficial.

Switch to linux
Never Looked Back 3 years ago

I switched to Debian GNU/Linux Unstable on my laptop 4 years ago, and I am still using it now on my latest laptop.

Just bought my girlfriend a cheap laptop and she wanted ‘those pretty screensavers you’ve got’ so I just installed Ubuntu GNU/Linux and it is so sweet and simple I’m tempted to switch myself.

If you think you’d like to try it, DO IT. Ubuntu make a LIVE CD version you can boot with to try out without formatting your hard disk yet.
