Quick update: after 10 weeks of salsa lessons, I decided to enroll for course #2. It’s terrific! Apart from the course, I try to go out dancing as often as I can and I’m learning quite fast. I can now do all kinds of body crosses, twists and turns. It’s not about the steps anymore; it’s about the DANCING. I’m loving it!!!

How I did it: I FINALLY got myself an apartment that I love. It's in the city centre, in a historical building. It's so cute! I still need to paint, clean and move all my stuff (not to mention all the furniture I will need to buy) but I'm really happy with it alread. Finally... light at the end of the tunnel! ;) Read how I did it…
How I did it: I loved my old coat but it was becoming threadbare and the lining was tearing at the seams. So, finally, I went out and MADE myself shop for a coat. I kept The Rules (of What Not To Wear's Trinny and Susannah) in mind, and got myself a gorgeous off-white, waisted coat. It's cute! And not that expensive either as I bought it in the end-of-season sale. Read how I did it…
How I did it: First of all, I am not a techie- I have my dad and brother to deal with all things technological. As long as you know how to plug and unplug cables, you're set. All it took was getting a simple 3.5 male-RCA cable to connect my laptop to my (prehistoric) stereo. I've used portable speakers before, but my stereo has got really good speakers. As I don't own a separate DVD player, I use my laptop to watch DVD's. It's got a nice scre… Read how I did it…

...and I find myself unable to do all the coursework in time. I try to sneak in my study books at work, but I’m very busy there, too. After lesson #1 my teacher moved me up to the DALF course, but I’m thinking this may have been a little over-ambitious? Well, we’ll see what happens…
... but still sticking to this goal. I had to withdraw some money (but hey, that’s why they call it an emergency fund) so I was beginning to fear being unable to meet this goal. But luckily I have been able to save more money than expected, so within 2 months the balance has been restored. If I save 600-700 a month, I can still achieve this goal before the year ends. Wish me luck!
