We’ve picked a wood burning stove and it’s 81% efficient which is one of the highest on the market. Our home has been inspected and we have a quote. As soon as our water heater is replaced to allow use of the chimney for the stove, we’re going to be on our way to a greener home.

I’ve been able to donate my hair to Locks of Love before, and although it was difficult to part with it, it was absolutely worth it. I’m considering doing it again soon.

I recently stopped at the Grand Canyon and did a couple hours of hiking. Fabulous! Before then, hiking to the bottom was a dream of mine, but now it’s a goal. I have three friends riled up to do it with me and we’re looking at next April. Here’s hoping!
Update:
One week from today I’m flying to Phoenix and the following Sunday am hiking to the bottom of the Grand Canyon with my husband and two dear friends. We’ve been training for months and are definitely ready for this adventure!
