Starting Over 16 months ago

I was on my way to losing when some major distractions took over my life this last few months. I was down 19 pounds, but from my starting weight I’m only down 10 pounds now.

I’m here to say it out loud. I’m going to lose this weight! It may take more time than I want it to, but I’m not going to let a time frame distract me.

I may have life moments come up that are distracting, but I’m not going to let them take over my life anymore.

Losing 100 pounds is something I have to do for me… not for a class reunion, or a special event of any kind. This is something I want to do for my health and well being.

I didn’t think soda was a real issue for me, but this past week I started keeping track of how much I drink. Oh wow! Was I surprised by the numbers. In all reality, I really got hooked during the past 6 weeks or so, during the holidays.
