I returned to college in my mid-30s and was a Russian major. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, but one of the most rewarding. It is a beautiful, rich language and Russian culture and history are infinitely intriguing. I’ve often likened getting through my study of Russian as similar to being in boot camp. It’s intense and demanding and you can’t help but bond with the other people who go through it with you.

I just registered a new domain name and am trying to decide what I want to do with it. My HTML skills have gotten rusty, so it’s going to take some time to get back up to speed.

I’ve vacationed several times at the northern end of Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. I want to return to explore more of it, both by car and by sea kayak.
