Its been almost a year since I was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer and happy to say that I am Cancer free. Life has changed but I am still here and despite all that has happened I feel that I am better for it. I feel really good about life right now and felt the need to write it. I count my blessing and am appreciative of the life I lead and the people in it.

How I did it: I booked my ticket a few months after my dad passed away and knew it was something I had to do. Since I was a teenager I always wanted to go to Europe and I always thought that I would eventually live there. If it weren't for my dad passing away I would have never gone because I wouldn't have had the money to go>It was one of the best things that I have done for myself. Read how I did it…
My trip is coming up sooner than later and I couldn’t be more scared/excited about it. I am a little terrified of taking this trip as going to Spain has been a life long dream of mine and at the age of 31 I am going. A lot of people don’t leave their home state or country and this is something that I am entirely thankful for. If it weren’t for my father I would not be taking this trip at all so for that I am thankful although I would give it up for him to be here. I am a very blessed person and I look forward to checking this off my list. We may not get to do all the thing we want to in life, but at least we can try.
