How I did it: Well I just started talking. I am a student, so most of the people were students, that I talked to. You can start a conversation by asking a persons major, talking about the teacher, if the teachers bad (sharing frustrations), talking about an upcoming test. Anything to start it off. So what if the person may not want to talk to you. I am an average looking girl, nothing special and most people were either happy or neutral to talk to me. … Read how I did it…
How I did it: I just decided to eat (4) 500 calorie meals a day. It wasn't too difficult. I enjoyed it to a degree, it wasn't all work. I reminded myself why I'm doing this, which is to feel comfortable and less physically awkward. I also taped my calories, with a motivational quote on my computer. This way I'd be reminded to eat my calories. It helped me keep my focus. On days I wasn't on the computer, I taped it to my tv. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Well I started off by throwing away clothes I haven't wore for five years. I was holding on to them hoping I'd fit into the one day. I had to accept the fact that I may never fit into them. I have to accept myself now and if I can wear them again someday, so be it.Some of the good clothes I can no longer fit are going to the salvation army or goodwill. I went far beyond 10 items. I am more welcoming, open and inviting. I am friendlier and talk more than when I made this goal. My family notice that I talk more. I think I make people more comfortable with me, than previously. I have changed. I am still quiet and stay to myself but I have improved a lot as far as this goal. I speak to people more and people are less intimidated by me (as far as being standoffish).
