Close... like exactly one month close. 4 months ago

I have always loved the idea of motorcyles while having little to no knowledge of how they work and/or the ultimate responsibility to own one.

Approximately 1 month ago I saw 2 guys, friends, out on their bikes enjoying the sunshine and laughing. It hit me – I need to be one of those guys.

So, I scheduled a driver safety course to get my license for August 1st and 2nd. I got my permit last week and I am so psyched to have the months of August and September to get out on the road.

I’ve decided to get a Honda Shadow (Rebel) for my 1st bike and am shopping around for that right now.

Vroooooooooooomm.

I am deathly afraid of the entire process regarding matters of College et al. It is just that I do not know what it will be like. My fear is born of ignorance… it is just that simple.

I do not like being rejected or made to feel inferior. Funny, I am going to college in hopes of gaining the knowledge and confidence to never feel like that again.

I am close to completing my Rutgers application after months of procrastinating and pros v cons list-making.

So, so very close.
