Well, after a few months of talking about starting a podcast focused on technology I’ve switched gears and picked a different topic.
You see, if I did something on tech I’m going to have to put more thought and time into it. Find interesting people to interview on a regular basis, etc. With pluggd taking all my time, I just couldn’t get off the starting line.
So I changed direction and concluded that an easier podcasting project would be to focus on something I could effortlessly talk about at length. That would be the University of Miami football team. I can easily talk for 20 minutes, especially after each game, about college football.
It’s called canecast. Coming soon. Stay tuned.

There has been a great deal of buzz building around Pluggd this past week. I have to say, it is satisfying to see other people get excited about something you and your team put so much heart and soul into.
That said, we still have a ton of work to do. We’ve recently expanded our podcast directory by 5x. We’re in the process of rolling out search functionality and improving the playback functionality. Both of these were a direct result of user feedback. We love our users! Keep ther feedback coming.

Well, it is time to start talking about what we’re doing over here at Pluggd. Yesterday I met with John Cook, who writes a blog for the Seattle PI (http://blog.seattlepi.nwsource.com/venture/) about Pluggd.
This is the first piece of press we’ve received so far, so in a way, it is a milestone for the company. We have so much work in front of us that it is hard to get too excited about this. As we would say in Miami, time to get back on the Grind.
Here is the story on Pluggd – http://blog.seattlepi.nwsource.com/venture/archives/102684.asp#extended
