Italy is completely and totally worth going to. I went on a trip with my friends, and it was just amazing. We went to Sorrento, Napoli, visited Pompeii and Capri, and went to Rome and Tivoli. The Italian language is so beautiful, and everyone is so friendly. It’s an amazing place, and if you can afford it (it’s pretty expensive), I strongly recommend it.

DC is not a state
Some people have Washington DC as one of their states on their goal list. That means they are missing an actual state. While DC is a big city and constitutes the national capitol, as well as have three electoral votes, it has no representation in the house or the senate and therefore does not constitue a state. It has no state government or legislature, it is merely a city that belongs to no state. Washington state is different from Washington DC they are seperated by about 2,500 miles and are on different ocean coasts. If you want to make your goal 50 states and DC, that’s fine, just don’t count DC as one of 50, it means your missing something.
