Yeah, it’s a good idea to pay your taxes on time. If you don’t, then you know what will happen and that would suck even more. —Besides, it’s the patriotic thing to do. Right? -- Progress Report: Well, I filed my taxes and sent in my check. But, they haven’t cashed the check yet. Could it be lost?
“In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.” -Philippians 4:6 -- Picture: The award-winning Shrine of the Blessed Virgin Mary was designed for St. James Cathedral in 1994 by parishioner and architect Susan Jones. Mary and the child Jesus are illuminated by the glow of hundreds of aromatic beeswax tapers. - The image of the Virgin and Child was the gift to the Cathedral by the Hartney, McCarthy, Pasha, and Ryan families in 1997. It is modelled on the 15th century Madonna and Child from the altarpiece in the German monastery of Blauberen, Germany.
