Immediate Enjoyment

I’ve realized that I’ve long been trying to “work out”, a very general idea, indeed, and with a very nebulous goal: to achieve general fitness and feel better about myself.
I’ve decided that, since I have THIS body NOW, I can ask myself—what can I do with my body that I would really love?
For me that’s dancing, swimming, and gymnastics. I’ve joined a gym and I’m reading books to create my own program to make progress in each of these activities.
It’s easier to focus on what you now vs. how you want to feel about your body on some far-off day. I’ve started enjoying my body overnight—it’s a lot easier than I thought.
