It’s amazing what good a little talking and some thinking and some occasional private writing and organizing one’s thoughts can do.
I had great panel mates, people asked insightful questions and I can’t wait to do it again. Now all I need is a great idea … scratches chin
... ain’t just a Sinead O’Connor album title. Getting rid of what I have would entail a lot of library donations for media and Goodwill trips for clothes. Then I’d have to retrain my brain into not buying things because they seem like good deals.
... but once I went, I realized it would only be that if I let it be that. I paid a little attention, took notes, got inspired, figured out what I wanted to do and then tried to bring it to others’ attention. I had fun, I had a few Shiners, I met a metric jackload of cool people. March ‘05 will be my third time back and my first time paneling. It can’t get here soon enough.
