Okay, so now I have the down payment, there are many available in my price range, I’ve just got to plan a day and go get it. We’re thinking of riding Amtrak to Denver and driving the car back.
Alright, I cut out the pieces, drilled the holes, cut the tenon ends, stained and varnished them and put it all together. Is it perfect? Well, one hole needed stretched, the tenon ends were a bit too much stretched, and the measurements were just a bit off, but if I were seeking perfection, I’d be in a different line of work. It looks great and now we’ve slept on it two nights in a row!
I had the wood all cut then saw a picture in a magazine with a really nice design in the head and foot board so then I went and bought more wood to make this design in my frame. Most of it is sanded, the next step is to start drilling holes and cutting the ends down to fit. I think summer finally made it to Wyoming, so now there will be more warm days to work outside. There was frozen water in the horses’ trough two days ago!
So now that it may be getting warmer outside, I want to spend 10 hours a month on this goal. First, I need to get some new engine mounts and put the engine in. Also, the brke lines need to get put back on.
I just read that YellowKnife is an option besides Alaska. Haven’t been to either place so I must start working on this goal.
Made a living will, regular will, power of attorney, durable power of attorney for health care and put them al in one place.
I opened an account and just started buying. Probably not a good time to sell!
I sent in the paper work and paid 65 dollars but should I expect some type of confirmation? Anyway, I consider this one done.
I had a near scare when I almost got ran over so I upped the priority on this one and have now got it all ready to be signed and delivered.
I bought some wood, got two legs cut out and now I need to find a mattress to measure so I know how long to make the side and end pieces. Gettin’ cold out there in the garage, though.
