We’ve been looking at houses, but now we’re thinking that we might not want to stay in the area for more than two years. In which case it probably makes more sense to rent. I wish we could figure this out one way or the other.

My husband and I are no longer looking at apartments in Istanbul, since we’ve decided to move to the U.S. But it’s hard to let go of the dream of an apartment with a Bosphorus view. I think my new dream is to have two houses….

I haven’t been very good about this, with the exception of Saturday, when I walked up and down hills for seven hours looking at apartments. But walking doesn’t seem to help me lose weight or even firm up all that much! I need to try something different.
