As part of my service my group had to plan something for Martin Luther King Jr Day. We got together with a community center and we all decided we wanted to do a peace march....and we did :) We carried a huge picture of MLKJ and some signs. My roommate noticed that I could braid my own hair and asked if i could do hers. I agreed and asked if I could practice cornrows which she enthusiastically agreed to.
