How I did it: One of my goals is to watch AFI's top 100, so I watched a lot of those. Having netflix is helpful because renting movies is not a chore. You just add ones to your list that you want to see, watch them, and then mail them back. Also you can use the watch instantly feature to watch movies on your computer or your TV (with a certain device like an XBOX or the Wii). How I did it: I didn't stop reading. I had multiple books going at one time, whether it was a book of short stories, a devotional, a fiction book or a book for school. I was always reading something. I would set goals of when I wanted to finish a book and I would do whatever it took to get there, even if that meant staying up until 3 am. How I did it: I rented a lot of movies, and I took advantage of those on tv. Through my new friendships at college, I watched movies I had never seen before, thus leading toward the completion of this goal. It is a good goal to have, because you will force yourself to find new movies you will eventually love, or at least try something different for a change. I only read 41 this year, which is crazy considering I read around 100 last year. We will try again for 2011. Maybe I won’t have so much to read for my classes this year
