drink more water
Mmm, oishii mizu! 4 months ago

Heard drinking water over carbonated drinks is popular outside of the US (I guess it’s healthier too) so I put some bottles of Dasani in the fridge and after I worked out I drank almost an entire bottle in like a minute and a half. It was sooo refreshing and yummy. Ilu water. <3

learn french
Victor Hugo, perhaps? 4 months ago

No, I am not enrolled in any French classes. I am a Japanese student, with a few friends in French 2. It’s not my fault, it’s Victor Hugo’s. If I had not started reading his work, I would have no intrest. If his work wasn’t so amazing, illustrating France and Paris and everything French in general as so beautiful, I would have no intrest. But the way the language flows is so romantic, it sounds so pretty when you learn a phrase you can’t help but repeat it again and again all night, even if nobody is listening. So I shall teach myself, I suppose. More complicated things have been done. Even if I can only manage a little, and I have no expectations of fluency, I want to learn more and more and more. Let’s hope for the best C:

Learn Japanese
Japanese 2 starts in August! 4 months ago

I’ve taken one year of high school Japanese… so I know all the hiragana and katakana, and maybe 50 (ish?) kanji. Plus basic sentence structure and things like that. Colors. Numbers. Furniture names.
Japanese 2 starts when school begins, and I’m kind of pumped to learn more. Haha. I am proud when I can read the katakana on diaper-changing tables. It makes me smile.
So let’s all hope I can actually remember everything I learned the first year over the summer to last me until year two. And lets all hope I can stay in till year four. Whooooo C:
