be happy
Worth it.

So this is a goal from about a year ago and I looked at it today and thought, “Am I happy?” My answer actually surprised me. Yes, generally I am happy. Despite mood swings and such, I’m a lot happier with the general trend of my life then I was and it rocks. :)

be more outgoing
Untitled

So I’ve always been the ‘quiet’ girl or at least really shy. This year I’m proud of myself. I’ve made more friends, and become more talkative both inside class and outside class. I’m still far from being the most outgoing person or the party girl, in fact I’m still probably what you would consider reserved, but I’ve made more friends and I’ve become more happy, and I want to keep working on it, to improve my own self confidence and other people’s image of me.

learn to play an instrument
The Violin...

Yeah I learned it last year…in school. Got to play in the concert and everything. It was a lot of fun and a way to meet people as well. The violin in specific is actually a rather hard instrument (my mother couldn’t get over the fact that it had no frets like the guitar) and the teacher was pretty hard. So I’m quite proud of myself for getting through it, but I do recommend it, it’s a good feeling of accomplishment to make a sound that sounds good and know you did that!
