How I did it: Well I had started saving money towards a camera several times throughout my college career, but I usually gave up and had to spend the money elsewhere. I had settled on the Nikon D40 because it was the cheapest option that, in my opinion, was worth purchasing. Around my birthday, my parents and I took a trip to Best Buy. How I did it: I studied abroad in Aix-en-Provence, France. I was able to visit other parts of France, Italy, Holland, Spain, Ireland, and Switzerland. In order to study abroad, I started by visiting my school's study abroad office. I did a lot of online research and chose to go with a program. I finally got my skateboard today. I’m really busy so I only had a few minutes to mess around on it. I even got my first scrape! I have to leave it here while I leave for the weekend, but when I get back I hope to be able to actually move on this thing without busting.
