this opens up such possibilities.
start a small business
ride a bull
talk to my mentor honestly
cook dinner for friends
interview for another job
talk to someone I didn’t know very well but whom I liked
tell people how I really feel about things
take a class that challenged my abilites
that’s a good start.
my start date. I’ll have to think about this and see where it takes me.
My friends are returning to the Grand Canyon and I was invited again! Yeah. I will be heading to Phantom for another long weekend in February. I wonder how different the trip will be? I will hike in different boots so I don’t get massive blisters. I’ll have more gear since it will be colder. What else will be different????
Last entry – May! Arggg. I need one goal to work on, not 43. I have been walking more but I am no where near exercising 5 days a week.
I walked today. That’s once this week. What will tomorrow bring?
Looking over my entries, I started posting in Dec. 2005. So that means that I haven’t managed to accomplish this goal since it’s now January, 2007. I’ll keep this goal for another year since it can’t hurt me to strive to change.
I don’t think I have accomplished what I wanted from this goal, which is to be more positive about people. So I will give the $100 to charity, after I figure out which one I want to give the money to. I will keep working on this goal and I will make my next challenge shorter (since I can’t figure out how to undo a challenge goal).
I had some excellent brownies today. They make a great lunch.
Go away for a weekend or even overnight. Just get out and do something by yourself. You’ll learn a lot about yourself and interact more with other people.
Unless you are someplace where you can bet that it’s pretty safe (a road that only goes one place, or a safe country), it’s not worth it. Better is to ask someone for a lift if they are headed your way. That way you have more control on who you get a lift from.
We threw ours out. Their ads are nice and make you want to eat there but the few times I have, I have been extremely disappointed.
I think that once again I have too many goals and this is fragmenting my time/focus. So, I need to reevaluate if this is a good approach for me or not.
This is one of the first things I learned to cook since it is inexpensive and I love rice. Water, butter, salt and rice. Boil, turn down the heat, and cook until the water is mostly gone.
Eat with a little butter and sugar or just butter. Yum!!
And it is a safe, controlled environment. I recommend taking a gun safety course before shooting a gun.
I complimented someone at work when I was talking to someone else. I met with someone who I didn’t think I could work well with and (surprise) he has been very pleasant to work with. I told a coworker about this, and a few other people.
It was a good day in spite of starting off poorly. There was a meeting at work that annonyed me because I get tired of my coworkers complaining. But things got a lot better after that so this was a good day.
I haven’t met my challenge goal so I want to stop this one and pay the penalty. I guess I just “give up” on this goal and then add it back to my list.
I even used herbs that were home grown. Yeah me. I made a lime/rosemary chicken. Pretty tasty. Next I’d like to make a meal instead of making just making one or two items. That will take some planning on my part.
I want a new job at work so I need to make this a priority. Here is what I want to do, have a new job by the end of March. That should be enough time for them to get their act together and for me to grease the skids to get a new job.
It was for something I did a while ago but it was stil lnice to be recognized for the work. And the award was even presented in person. :)
I cooked twice this weekend. Nothing fancy, but at least this has me in the kitchen again. I am still trying to determine where everything should be to make cooking easier.
