Second road bike. 6 days ago

Just got a second hand Miyata Three Ten.
A 12-speed with Shimano and Dia-Compe components, a bottle cage mount already present, so I added a cage and bottle.

Everyone should consider a water bottle cage, soda bottles will fit just fine, but all the same, having an easy way to drink water while biking will make your cycling more enjoyable.

down a bit more... 1 week ago

Weighed myself the other day, according to the scale I used, I have now dropped another 2.8 kilos, or about 6-pounds. Wow.

I still eat well, mostly healthy food in healthy amounts, and plenty of water.

My job is within biking distance, plus it involves farm work, lifting and carrying stuff, and running around making sure teenagers are behaving well.

Ah how I love Kiss My Face, Dr. Bronners and Toms Of Maine to keep clean and green!

Further trying to be a bit cleaner and greener.
I got a second bike, second hand. A mid ‘80s Miyata Three Ten road bike, and I loves it! That and my old Motobecane have done wonders for keeping me from depending on automobiles.

I brown-bag all my own lunches these days, all vegetarian food, I don’t think I’ve eaten much meat in the last few weeks since substitutes have been available.
