...about food in England, at least where I was. Sugar was in EVERYTHING, and they really seem to like their processed food.
However, I managed to make relatively good food choices, and walked a crazy amount. When I came back last week, I weighed myself and saw that I’d lost 2 lbs… So I’m at the cusp of meeting my mini-goal of 165 lbs. WHOO HOO!
I just read my last entry, and I realized that I’d reached my mini-goal at that point—170 lbs.
I’m now (well, as of yesterday) 167 lbs, so I guess I’ll make my mini-goal to be under 165…
I’m going on vacation to England next week, and if what I hear about English food is true, I’m really going to have to pay attention to what goes into what I’m eating.
I’ve already scoped out where the nearest grocery store is, so I’ll be able to get some fresh fruit and veg, and maybe some whole wheat bread. They’ll also have prepared meals I’d imagine, so I won’t have to go to resteraunts and pubs for all my meals. At least at the supermarket I can ask the people what goes into the food!
Wish me luck…I hope I won’t have to make my mini-goal to be under 170 lbs again!
