I would never have thought it when I set this goal and wrote that entry so many years ago… but I’m a teacher now. I feel happy for others every single day! I’m marking this one DONE.
Four years since I set this goal… It’s still something Ihave to think about every single day, but the good news is that I do follow the principle and have maintained my weight this way for years. I can always tell when I’m not being mindful because the scale creeps upward. I start paying more attention, and it goes back down. Funny how overeating and weight go hand in hand… :) I’m marking this one done, because I know that even though food will always be an issue for me and this will never be something I do automatically, it is a principle I will continue following because it’s so, so worth it.
