How I did it: I read Dave Ramsey's book My Total Money Makeover in 2003. I was hooked. My then boyfriend (now husband) thought I was sucked into a cult. I started living like no one else: cutting up credit cards, paying for everything in cash up front, not taking on additional debt, eating out less, being extremely frugal and avoiding materialism.My husband was on board with destroying credit cards. How I did it: My community gives inexpensive classes in Spanish through our Literacy Council. They make learning spanish fun and easy. There have Spanish levels 1-5 that meets once a week for 5 weeks per level. Flashcards helped me learn the basics. I also looked for ways to use spanish in everyday language. Read how I did it…
