Change of plans... 3 months ago

I went to the advisor for study abroad and she recommended to me that I go to France due to my french proficiency. And since I now have a Pell Grant, and would qualify for a Benjamin Gilman grant, AND I’ll be able to work in France…I’m going next semester for 4-6 months!

This will also be my LAST semester in college!

AND I’m going to be going to school at the Sorbonne Nouvelle Censier—Paris 3.

own a home
Well, I'm no longer living with the rents... 3 months ago

I’m not a in a full fledged apartment yet, though I did live in a corporate apartment for 4 months 2 years ago.

I’m kind of inching toward my own place. Not really because I’m that co-dependent, but due to finances.

That, and I plan to study abroad in the spring next year.

Afterwards I’m going to probably move to Florida and move into a “split” room situation until I manage to save enough up so that I get my own car/place.

explore the city i live in
I'm now a licensed Tour Guide... 3 months ago

And because of it, I’ve learned a lot about the city I live in that I didn’t know before.

To top it off, I’ve learned about places that I want to go see, tours I want to take, etc that I didn’t know before. I’m also in a better position to go and do/see those things.

And with me having the upcoming month off, I plan make a list of places I want to visit/tour.

Hopefully by September, I’ll have visited everything I want to see.
