Congrats to Lance Armstrong! I was so glad to see that he used his bully pulpit to speak out against the war. He pointed out that teh US soends more in three weeks in Iraq than it does in an entire year for cancer research.

I was interviewed March 19, 2005 at an antiwar demonstration I helped organize outside of Ft. Bragg, NC. The main participants were military family members and veterans, including Iraq vets.



get a bike

If you think you might enjoy serious cycling, start with a cheap or used bike. If you still enjoy it a month later, then make the move towards getting a nice Cannondale, Trek, Lightspeed or some other high end machine. MAny serious “bike people” spemd more on accesssories for theri bicycles than they do their cars.
