How I did it: I found that categorising my 'to do' items, crossing them out, and announcing it to the world, was a sure fire way of motivating me to get on with tasks. But, now I'm in the swing of it, I don't think I need public recognition in order to motivate myself and it's much easier to have 'Things' on both my laptop and my iPhone, so I can read the list on the go and sync both. How I did it: after battling with software on numerous occasions and tearing my hair out, always thinking it was something I was or was not doing, I have realised, after talking with an IT consultant, that my laptop is not compatible with said software. So I have handed the whole caboodle over to a new colleague, who is connected to the work network, uses a compatible desktop, and has the time. Exhaling!!!! Read how I did it…
