I was so looking forward to visiting Paris. Finally, it was done. Visited most of the famous monuments and destinations in Paris.

Amsterdam was good, too. A bit more chillier at this time of the year. But the idyllic beauty of the place is overwhelming. Visited Keukenhof, Madurodam, Hague, Van Gogh Museum…

Finally, I get a sigh of relief. It wasn’t easy – a good bunch of documents and proofs were needed. Had a hard time initially putting everything together. But then, all’s well that ends well. I am happy :-)

Often, we put off investing money because we like to sit on cash. Let’s face it, it feels better to have cash than have your money stashed away in a MF/other investment to which we don’t have an easy access. I almost had to force myself to overcome this passion with holding cash in my savings. Cash lying idle is like a dead, refrigerated fish. It will just erode in value, remember, inflation. Better to have a fixed chunk of your savings every month invested. And the best way to do it every month is to put all your invesments on an auto-pilot mode aka ECS.
